Water Well Project
The Tahara Collective partnered with Al-Masa’akin Foundation to construct a water well in an urban slum in Ibadan, serving over 300 families. N400,000 can provide water for over 500 people according to their estimate.
We carried out a pilot project in partnership with Al-Masa’akin Foundation to construct a water well in an urban slum in Ibadan, Oyo State. This water well serves more than 300 families who have hitherto had to travel several miles for a few liters of water. Per our estimate, N400,000 is enough to provide water that serves more than 500 people.
